Questions We Answer Every Day

A trademark is a legally registered word, phrase, logo, or symbol that identifies your goods or services. Once registered, you have exclusive rights across India for 10 years, renewable forever. Without registration, competitors can legally use similar names and you have very limited legal recourse.

Trademark protects brand identifiers (names, logos, taglines) for 10 years renewable. Copyright protects creative works (books, music, software, art) for the author's lifetime plus 60 years. Patent protects inventions for 20 years non-renewable. IPForte handles all three.

About 40–50% of applications receive an objection. It is NOT a rejection. You have 30 days to respond. Our team drafts and files a comprehensive legal reply. Missing the deadline causes the application to be abandoned and all fees forfeited.

We file within 48 hours of receiving documents. An acknowledgement with TM number is issued immediately. Examination takes 3–6 months. Registration is granted in 18–24 months if no objection or opposition. You can use ™ from filing day and ® after registration.

Yes — 100% online. We serve all 28 states and 8 union territories of India, plus international clients worldwide. Share documents via WhatsApp. We file electronically. No physical visit required at any stage.
